The Numbers on the Overview

The Overview is the first page after logging in. It shows two major metrics, a bar for your booking quota, and below that the ongoing activity of your studio. This page explains what each figure measures, so you don't misread it.

The period applies to both cards

Above the cards there is a selector: 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. It determines both metrics at once, as well as the comparison figure below them. The comparison is always against the equally long period before it: for 30 days, that means the 30 days before the last 30.

Utilization

Utilization tells you how full your sessions were.

It is calculated as: confirmed bookings across all sessions in the period, divided by the total number of spots for those sessions.

What counts:

  • Only sessions with the status active. Cancelled sessions are excluded.
  • Only sessions with a participant count configured. An offering without a spot count can't have a utilization figure and is excluded.
  • Only confirmed bookings. Pending and cancelled ones don't count.
  • The date of the session is what matters, not the time of the registration.

Trainers who may only see their own offerings also only see the utilization of their own sessions here.

If a dash appears here instead of a number, there wasn't a single session with a configured spot count in the period.

Revenue

Revenue sums the prices of all confirmed bookings that were created in the period. Here, the time of registration is what matters, not the date of the session.

Below it is the number of bookings the total is made up of.

This means this card measures something different from utilization above it, and that's intentional: utilization answers "How full was it?", revenue answers "What came in during these days?". Someone who books a course in May while registering in March shows up in March's revenue and in May's utilization.

More about revenue:

  • Cancelled bookings are not included.
  • Revenue is always studio-wide, even in a trainer's view.
  • It refers to the booking price, not the amount after fees are deducted.

Tapping the revenue card takes you further: administrators to Transactions, trainers to My Finances. The individual payment transactions that make up the total are listed there.

The quota bar

Above the cards sits a narrow bar showing your booking quota: this month's bookings against the tier you have booked.

This figure counts differently from the revenue card. It counts every non-cancelled booking in the month of the session, pending ones included. It's normal, and not a bug, that it doesn't match the booking count under revenue.

How the tiers work is explained under Pricing Tiers and Booking Volume.
