What is a block course?
A block course is a fixed series of sessions that your clients book and pay for as a whole with a single booking. With Bookicorn's Block courses add-on, you set the sessions consecutively, on a weekly rhythm or individually, and attach several blocks to one offering. If you like, clients can join a block that's already running and only pay for the remaining sessions.

How to get Block courses
You turn on Block courses in the Add-on Store of your Manager with one tap and can switch it off at any time. It uses one of your plan's add-on slots. Once all slots are taken, you can add it on in the paid plans.

What block courses can do

All featuresOne package, one booking
Your clients book the block as a whole and are signed up for every session. They pay once for the whole block, for example online by card or with credits.
Three patterns for the sessions
Consecutive over several days, on a weekly rhythm on fixed days (every week, every 2, 3 or 4 weeks) or each session individually. You remove individual days in the preview.
Several blocks per offering
Spring, summer, fall: each block has its own name, price, credit value, spots, instructor and location. Anything you leave empty is taken from the offering. Clients choose the block on the offering page.
Late entry into running blocks
If you allow late entry, clients book a running block from the next session and pay a prorated price for the remaining sessions. Otherwise, a block can be booked until the first session.
Book a single session from the block
Your team books clients into the complete block or just a single session from it, even when the block is already running.
Status updates itself
New blocks are open for registration right away. With the first session, Bookicorn sets the block to “Running”, and after the last one to “Completed”.
