Managing Your Profile

Here is how members can manage their personal data and settings.

Profile Page

Access

  1. Open dashboard
  2. Click on profile picture or name
  3. Or: "Profile" in the navigation

Overview

The profile page shows:

  • Personal data
  • Contact information
  • Address
  • Settings

Personal Data

Editable Fields

Changing Data

  1. Click on the field
  2. Enter new value
  3. Click "Save"

Email Address

Changing Email

  1. Click "Change" next to "Email"
  2. Enter new email
  3. Receive confirmation email
  4. Click link in email
  5. New email is active

Important: Until confirmed, the old email is still in use.

Why Confirm?

  • Security (preventing unauthorized takeover)
  • Ensuring the email works
  • Login is switched to the new email

Password

Changing Password

  1. In profile: "Change password"
  2. Enter current password
  3. Enter new password
  4. Confirm new password
  5. "Save"

Password Requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Recommended: Upper/lowercase letters, numbers

Forgot Password?

  1. On login page: "Forgot password"
  2. Enter email address
  3. Reset link by email
  4. Set new password

Profile Picture

Uploading a Picture

  1. Click on profile picture
  2. Select "Change picture"
  3. Choose file (JPG, PNG)
  4. Automatically cropped

  2. Select "Remove picture"
  3. Default avatar is displayed

Entering Address

  1. In profile, go to "Address"
  2. Fill in fields
  3. "Save"

Tip: Complete address for correct invoices.

  2. Toggle switches on/off
  3. Saved automatically

Payment Methods

Saved Methods

Customers can save payment methods:

  • Credit card
  • SEPA direct debit
  • PayPal (linked)

Adding a New Method

  1. "Add payment method"
  2. Stripe Checkout opens
  3. Enter details
  4. Method is saved

Removing a Method

  1. Next to the method: "Remove"
  2. Confirm
  3. For subscriptions: New method required

Subscriptions

Active Subscriptions

Under "My Subscriptions":

  • Subscription name
  • Next charge
  • Payment method
  • Status

Pausing a Subscription

  1. Open subscription
  2. Click "Pause"
  3. Select duration
  4. No charge during pause

Cancelling a Subscription

  1. Open subscription
  2. Click "Cancel"
  3. Confirm
  4. Runs until end of period

Privacy

Right to Access

Customers have the right to:

  • Information about stored data
  • Export of their data
  • Deletion of their data

Exporting Data

  1. In profile: "My Data"
  2. Click "Export data"
  3. Download as JSON/CSV

Deleting Account

  1. In profile: "Delete account"
  2. Email confirmation required
  3. All data is deleted
  4. Action cannot be undone

Note: Outstanding bookings must be completed first.


Account Overview

Statistics

Visible in profile:

  • Member since
  • Courses booked (total)
  • Courses attended
  • Current credits

Purchase History

All purchases viewable:

  • Date
  • Package
  • Amount
  • Invoice

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my name later?

Yes, names can be changed at any time in the profile.

What happens with a misspelled email?

Contact the studio – they can correct the email.

Can I have multiple email addresses?

No, only one email per account is possible.

How do I delete my account?

Under Profile → "Delete account". If you have issues: Contact the studio.

Is my data stored securely?

Yes, all data is encrypted and stored in GDPR compliance.
