My Bookicorn Plan
This page covers your own plan with Bookicorn, meaning the plan you pay for using the platform.
It does not cover your customers' subscriptions. If your customers receive credits on a monthly basis, that is a credit subscription and has nothing to do with your plan. There is a separate page for that: Credit Subscriptions.
Where you manage your plan
Settings → Plan & Billing
There you see your current plan, your booking quota, the current month's usage, and your past invoices. Only owners and administrators have access.
Changing your plan
- Open Settings → Plan & Billing
- Choose the desired plan
- Confirm the change
A change takes effect immediately in both directions. The difference is prorated for the remainder of the billing period, so you never pay twice or for days you didn't use. Your next regular billing date stays the same.
Before downgrading, check two things:
- Addon slots. Each plan comes with a set number. If your active addons no longer fit into the smaller plan, the excess ones are deactivated.
- Number of trainers. If it exceeds the smaller plan's limit, you must choose which trainers get deactivated when you change. Deactivated does not mean deleted, the data is retained.
Adjusting your booking quota
The price also depends on the booking tier you choose. How the tiers work, what counts as a booking, and which limits apply is explained on the page Pricing Tiers and Booking Volume.
Cancelling
- Open Settings → Plan & Billing
- Choose Cancel plan
- Give a reason for cancelling, it helps us and takes only a moment
- Confirm
What happens afterward:
- Your plan continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Everything remains usable until then.
- You receive a confirmation email with the exact end date.
- On the end date, your studio switches to the Free plan.
- Your data is retained: customers, bookings, invoices, credits.
The Free plan has 50 bookings per month and one addon slot. Anything beyond that is paused until you upgrade again.
Undoing a cancellation
As long as the end date hasn't been reached, you'll find the option to undo the cancellation under Settings → Plan & Billing. The plan then continues unchanged, and no new minimum term is created.
Deleting your account and studio
Deleting is different from cancelling, and it is final.
- Open Settings → General
- At the very bottom is the section for deleting the account
- Confirm the safety prompt
What happens:
- All running subscriptions with our payment provider are ended immediately.
- A configured custom domain is deregistered, your studio address is no longer reachable afterward.
- Your access is deleted, you can no longer log in.
- The studio itself is deactivated, not physically removed. Bookings, invoices, and customer credits are retained, because invoicing data is subject to statutory retention periods.
If you're not sure, cancel first and let the studio rest on the Free plan. A deleted account cannot be recovered.
Invoices for your plan
Your Bookicorn invoices are located under Settings → Plan & Billing. They are not to be confused with the invoices you issue to your own customers, for those there is the Invoices section.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have a minimum term? No. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
What happens to my customers if I cancel? Nothing. Accounts, credits, and booked sessions are retained. The limits of the Free plan then apply.
Do I get money back if I cancel mid-year? The paid period runs to its end, there is no refund for the remaining time. When changing plans within the term, however, the difference is prorated.
I paid annually. Do I need to cancel in time so nothing renews? Cancel before the end of the current period. The point in time from which the cancellation takes effect is shown to you before confirming, and again in the confirmation email.
