Payments

Bookicorn uses Stripe as its payment provider. Studios connect their own Stripe account and retain full control over their revenue.

Payment Modes

You decide how your customers pay for courses. Bookicorn offers three payment modes:

Mode 1: Credits Only

Customers must first purchase credits to book courses.

Ideal for: Studios with regular visitors, yoga studios, fitness studios

Mode 2: Direct Payment Only

Customers pay for each course individually at the time of booking.

Mode 3: Both (Hybrid)

Changing the Setting

You set the payment mode per course:

  1. Open Edit Course
  2. Under Prices, enable the desired options:
    • Credit cost (for credit booking)
    • Direct payment price (for individual payment)
  3. Save

If only credit cost is set → Credits only If only direct price is set → Direct payment only If both are set → Hybrid mode

Stripe Connect

What is Stripe Connect?

Stripe Connect enables studios to receive payments directly to their own Stripe account.

Advantages:

  • Full control over your own Stripe dashboard
  • Direct payouts to your bank account
  • Transparent fee overview
  • Professional payment processing

Account Types

Bookicorn uses Standard Accounts:

  • Studio manages its own account
  • Full Stripe dashboard available
  • Maximum data control
  • Bookicorn only has transfer rights

  • Standard: 2–7 business days (depending on bank)
