Branding: logo, favicon and colors

Your studio presents itself with a logo, name and colors. These details live in two places in the Manager: under Settings → General (studio details) and under Settings → My Booking Page → Design (how the booking page looks). This page explains what goes where.

You upload the logo under Manager → Settings → General → Studio Branding → Upload logo. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and SVG up to 5 MB are allowed. The logo isn't shrunk, so upload it in a suitable size.

The logo appears:

  • in the header of your booking page. There it takes priority over the logo under My Booking Page → Design → Logo & favicon,
  • in the emails to your customers, in the position you choose under Email Templates → Global settings → Logo position,
  • as the favicon, as long as you don't upload a favicon of your own.

Invoices don't show the studio logo but the invoice issuer's logo. See Upload images.

Favicon: the image in the browser tab

The favicon appears in the browser tab and in search results. You upload it under Settings → General → Favicon → Upload file and remove it there with Remove. Without a favicon of your own, Bookicorn uses your logo.

Under My Booking Page → Design → Logo & favicon, you can also add a favicon just for the booking page. It takes priority over the favicon under General.

Change your studio name and description

Under Settings → General → Studio Branding, you find the Studio Name field and the Short intro text for your public Studio page field. Changes are saved immediately. A new name doesn't change the address of your booking page.

Change the booking page colors

You set the colors of your booking page under My Booking Page → Design:

  • Design theme: comes with its own color palette.
  • Colors → Custom colors: overrides the theme's palette, separately for light and dark, for example Primary color, Buttons and Background.

The instructions are under Design your booking page. The emails to your customers take over these colors automatically.

The Manager's color scheme: Studio Theme

Under Settings → General → Appearance, there are two settings for the Manager:

  • Appearance: System, Light or Dark.
  • Studio Theme: your studio's color scheme. Each card shows a small preview of how the Manager looks with it. Once you select one, the Manager changes color immediately.

The Studio Theme doesn't change the colors of your booking page. You set those under My Booking Page → Design.

Seasonal decorations

For Halloween and Christmas, the Manager decorates itself: the dashboard shows pumpkins, bats and an evening sky, for example, and snow, fairy lights and a sleigh at Christmas. The decorations sit behind your content and don't get in the way. If Reduce Motion is turned on on your device, they stay still.

Everyone can switch them off for themselves: admins under Settings → General → Appearance, trainers under My Profile, each with Seasonal decorations. The switch only appears while a season is running.

Colors of the website widgets

Without their own setting, widgets from the website integration follow the colors of your booking page. You set different colors under Website Integration → Default settings or in the individual integration. See Customize widgets.
