Data processing agreement
You accept the DPA under Art. 28 GDPR when you sign up. It's available in 7 languages on Bookicorn's privacy page, and with “Save as PDF” you add it to your records.
Consents with dates
In the Manager under Settings, Legal, you find the terms, DPA and privacy policy with version and time of consent. One tap opens the document.
Clients delete their own accounts
In the client app under Settings, Account. Name, contact details and address are anonymized, notes and saved payment methods deleted, and the login blocked. Invoices remain for tax reasons.
Remove clients from your list
In the client profile you remove a person from your client list. Your notes and documents about them are deleted, while booking history and invoices are kept.
Legal pages on your booking page
The footer of your booking page shows the legal notice, privacy policy and terms, separately for your studio and for Bookicorn as the platform.
Instructors by first name only
If you like, your booking page shows instructors by first name only, so “Mia” instead of “Mia Schneider”. The setting applies to the whole page.
Consents at sign-up
Clients actively confirm the terms and privacy policy. Consent to news by email is voluntary and not preselected.
