For your customers

This section explains Bookicorn from your customers' point of view: where they book, how they create an account and what they find in their customer area. That way you know what your customers see when they ask you something.

Where your customers book with you

Your customers book in two ways:

• On your booking page: every studio has its own address under bookicorn.net, and with the Custom domain addon also under your own domain. With the Website Integration addon, booking can also be embedded in your own website.
• In the customer app: the Bookicorn app on Google Play. More under The customer app.

Both ways lead to the same bookings, the same credits and the same account.

How customers create an account

A customer account is created in three ways:

• By the customer: customers create their account when booking on your booking page or in the customer app. In the app this is called Create account, and they enter First name, Last name, Email address and Password there.
• By you: you create customers in the Bookicorn Manager under Customers. With Send invitation by email, they receive a link to set their password. Without an invitation, they sign in later via Forgot password?. More under Add customers.
• Through an invitation: with the Campaigns addon, you invite customers by email. More under Campaigns.

If the Guest Booking addon is active for an offering, customers can also book without an account, with Book as a guest.

How customers sign in

In the customer app, customers choose one of these ways under How would you like to sign in?:

• With email and password
• Code from your booking email: for customers who booked without an account.

On devices with fingerprint or face recognition, the app offers to use it to unlock next time (Get in faster).

The customer area

In the customer area, in the app and in the browser, customers find:

• Home: the next session and quick ways to book and to their credits.
• Schedule: your offerings to book.
• Bookings: upcoming and past bookings, waitlists and open requests.
• More: the menu with credits, messages and settings.

Frequently asked questions

Do my customers need an account to book? Yes, unless you use the Guest Booking addon. Then they can book without an account with Book as a guest.

A customer has forgotten their password. What now? They use Forgot password? when signing in.

Can I create customers myself? Yes, in the Manager under Customers. With Send invitation by email, they get a link to set their password right away.

Where do my customers see their bookings? In the customer area under Bookings, in the app and in the browser.

Can customers book without the app? Yes. The booking page works in any browser, and the app is optional.
