Campaigns

With the Campaigns addon, you invite people by email to create an account with your studio. Each campaign has its own welcome and a period, and you see how many invitations were sent, clicked and turned into a registration.

What the Campaigns addon can do

• Invitation campaigns with their own welcome headline and welcome message.
• Recipient lists by pasting email addresses.
• Sending with a start and end date.
• A limit on invitations per campaign.
• Tracking registrations per campaign.

Activate the Campaigns addon

You activate the addon under Manager → Addon Store with Campaigns and Activate. It is a regular addon and takes up one addon slot in your plan. Only then does the Invitations item appear in the menu under Customers.

Where to find your campaigns

You find your campaigns under Manager → Customers → Invitations (app.bookicorn.net/einladungen). For each campaign, the list shows Campaign, Status, Sent and Registered.

Trainers only see the invitations if you switch on Invitations in their profile under Role.

Create a new campaign and send invitations

1. Open Manager → Customers → Invitations and tap New campaign.
2. Under Basics, fill in the Campaign name. An internal Description, Start date, End date (optional) and Max. invitations (empty means unlimited) are optional. For Status, choose Draft or Active.
3. Under Design, write the Welcome headline and the Welcome message. The invited people see both when they open the invitation.
4. Under Recipients, paste the addresses into Email addresses, one per line or in the format First name Last name <email@example.com>. With Add you take them over into the list.
5. With Create campaign you create the campaign. If there are recipients in the list, the invitations go out immediately.

Bookicorn skips addresses that already belong to your customers and reports address(es) skipped: already your customer.

What the invited people receive

Each person receives an email with the subject Invitation from and the name of your studio. It contains the Register now button and an Invite code. If the campaign has an end date, it appears in the email as Valid until.

The button leads to an invitation page with your welcome headline. There the person creates an account or signs in with an existing account and joins your studio. Without your own headline, it says Welcome to and the name of your studio.

Evaluate a campaign and invite more recipients

Tapping a campaign opens it with two sections:

• Overview: the figures Sent, Clicked and Registered, plus the Campaign details with Start date, End date and Invitation limit and a preview of the Welcome message.
• Invitations: the invitations sent.

You invite more people with Add recipients. With Pause you stop a campaign, and with Activate you resume it. A paused campaign doesn't send any invitations. Once the invitation limit is reached, no more invitations can be sent.

Frequently asked questions

How do I invite several customers at once? Under Manager → Customers → Invitations, create a New campaign and paste the email addresses under Recipients, one per line.

Can I upload a CSV file? No. You paste the addresses as text, one per line or in the format First name Last name <email@example.com>.

Why don't I see the Invitations item? The item only appears once the Campaigns addon is active.

Do my existing customers also receive an invitation? No. Bookicorn skips addresses that already belong to your customers.

How do I see who has registered? In the list under Registered and in the campaign in the Overview section.
