What is a class pack?
A class pack is a bundle of credits, such as a 10-class pack, that your clients pay for once and then redeem session by session. In Bookicorn, you set the number, price, validity and payment methods. With every booking, Bookicorn deducts the credits that expire first, and your clients always see how many are left.

Paper cards get lost, tally marks get forgotten, and at the end of the month you work out by hand who has how many credits left and which card has already expired.
With every booking, Bookicorn deducts the credits. Your clients see their balance and expiry date themselves, and you see every movement in the pack's history.
How to sell class packs
Once created, sales and deductions run on their own. Packs you no longer offer are set to inactive, and purchased packs stay valid.

Create a pack
Set the name, number, price and payment methods, and decide when the credits start and when they expire.

Clients buy online
Your clients buy on your booking page or in the client portal and pay with the payment methods you allow for the pack.

Book with credits
With every booking, Bookicorn deducts the credits. If your client cancels within your deadline, they go back onto the same pack.

Validity starts with the purchase or only with the first booking. Credits expire after days, weeks, months or years, on a fixed date or never.
Credits, money or both per offering
Per offering you decide whether clients pay with credits, directly with money or with either, and how many credits a session costs. With several durations, each duration has its own value.
What expires first is used first
If a client has several packs, Bookicorn first deducts the credits that expire earliest. Credits with unlimited validity are used last.
Only for certain categories
Limit a pack to offerings in specific categories, such as a pack just for kids' sessions. Without a selection, it applies to all offerings.
Buy online or pay at the studio
You choose the payment methods per pack: Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer or cash. Packs paid online are available right away, and the money goes directly to you.
Release pending payments
If a client buys by bank transfer or cash, they get an email with the payment details and you get a notification. The credits wait until you confirm receipt of payment in the Manager.
Balance and history for your clients
In the client portal, your clients see how many credits they have, until when they're valid and what they were used for, with every purchase, every booking and every refund.
Manage individual clients' packs
In the Manager you add or deduct credits, pause or extend a pack, or create one directly for a client, such as a gift or a goodwill gesture.
