Where can customers book?
Your customers can book with you in several ways. All bookings end up in the same place: in the Manager under Bookings and in the participant list of the session.
Your studio's booking page
Every studio has its own public booking page at an address like your-studio.bookicorn.net. There customers see your offerings and sessions and book directly. You share the link to your booking page in the Manager under Settings with Share booking page.
Customers book there with a customer account or, with the "Guest Booking" addon, also as a guest without an account.
The booking page is only accessible if you have made it public. As long as it isn't public, visitors see a placeholder page.
Custom domain for the booking page
With the "Custom domain" addon, your booking page runs under your own address, for example book.your-studio.com. Booking works the same way there. More under Custom domain.
Customer app and customer area in the browser
Customers also book in the Bookicorn customer app. There they see your sessions, book, pay, cancel and receive push notifications. The customer app is available on Google Play and is being prepared for the iPhone.
The same interface is available in the browser as the customer area under /dashboard on your booking page. There customers book, cancel and manage their bookings on any device.
From the Starter plan, the customer app shows your studio with the logo, colors and font of your booking page. You find the link and QR code for your customers under Manager → Settings → App at Bring your customers to the app.
How customers find your studio in the customer app
In the customer app, customers add your studio via Add provider:
- Search: the search only shows studios whose booking page is public and that accept new customers.
- I have a code: with a code from an invitation.
- Scan QR code or Enter provider handle.
If your studio isn't accepting new customers at the moment, they see "This provider is not accepting new members right now."
Widgets on your own website
With the "Website Integration" addon, you embed parts of your booking page, such as the schedule, in your own website. Customers then book directly on your website. How this works is described under Widgets.
Booking in by you in the Manager
You yourself book customers in via the Manager, for example at the front desk or after a phone call. This works via Book someone in on the dashboard or Add participant in the session. See Book in participants.
